Im Your Huckleberry

To be one’s huckleberry — as in the phrase I’m your huckleberry — is to be just the right person for a given job. The word came to be given as a mark of affection or comradeship to one’s partner or sidekick
I think Huck will be just the right Buck for our herd. He has already won the heart of this Lady.

Casa de Cabrones

Casa de Cabrones
We call our little casita here at the Flying Goat Ranch, Casa de Cabrones. Our quaint little adobe was built in 1930 out of mud blocks cut from the Rio Grande banks. It was once a functioning dairy farm. The Flying Goat Ranch sits in the one of the largest remaining Cottonwood forests left in the United States. We are nestled along the bottom Rio Grande Valley. This valley is known for bird watching and we have a huge winter population of Sandhill Cranes. It's really an amazing sight to see these majestic birds soaring above, I love the whoosh of their wings. Its wonderful to have them winter here in the bosque with us.
